The Cowboys continue to win. That's a bad thing.

They've been ahead at the half in every game they've played before they have a slowdown in the second quarter. Do you think that's because Trubisky's off his opening script and/or Matt Nagy is off his script, so they're not as efficient? I'm leaning towards Trubisky being off , as there are times when he's been shown that he'll miss easy throws. However good the Bears defense has beenin the past, in 2018 your quarterback as well as your offense have to be at a high-level to make it to the playoffs.

That said, I think it's the right time to invest in the Bears that are one year removed from Super Bowl contention. The Lions aren't exactly alive currently However, Chicago took on the road to play a division rival an alternative quarterback during the same week, and they won. That's huge. Yesterday, Chase Daniel showed why that he is often paid huge cash to be a backup. He was 27-37 for 230 yards . He also scored two touchdowns. That game showed that Matt Nagy is a legit coach. Nagy had some subtle changes in the game that I believe were crucial and are often missed. In the first half they attempted some deeper passes however Chase was a little off. It's not surprising given that the fact that he's never worked with these wide receivers in practice at full speed. In the second half, those did not happen. Throws were shorter and more efficient. Excellent adjustments.

The Bears defense entered the game as the leading defense in the College Football 25 because they can do it all. They have 34 sacks and only allow 3.6 yards per carry, which is tied with the Saints for the top defense in the College Football 25. What makes their defense good to exceptional is the mistakes they make. They have prevented 29 turnovers, with 20 interceptions, scoring on six of those.

While this league is one that plays offensively, the Bears are probably the only defense in the league that can compete with the Saints in the playoffs and which gives them a chance.

The worst thing that could be taking place to the Cowboys right now.

They are winning. Why is that bad? Since Jason Garrett might keep his job if the team wins this year's NFC East, and Garrett should not get his job back. I've written before about this.
