What Is the Deep Meaning of Matthew 6:33

In Matthew 6:33, Jesus gave His disciples two main objectives. What are these two priorities, and what does Matthew 6:33 signify for Christians today?

My pastor recently told me that during his adolescence and early adulthood, he used to set his alarm clock for 6:33 a.m. He would be reminded of Matthew 6:33 and his imperative to "seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness" as soon as he woke up and saw his alarm.

In one sense, it's a clear illustration of Matthew 6:33 in action. However, what effect would it have on someone who was unaware of what "the kingdom of God" and "His righteousness" meant and was unsure of how to "seek" them out?

The fact that there are so many different theories regarding the Kingdom of God is proof that the devil has been successful in misleading millions of people about what the Many serious preachers boldly assert that the Kingdom of God is the cozy feeling individuals get when they "invite Jesus" into their life because Satan still intentionally obfuscates the essence of Jesus' teaching.

However, according to God's Word, Jesus proclaimed "the gospel of the kingdom of God"—not merely a message about Himself, but also the good news of a real, globally dominant government.

It seems sense to inquire about Matthew 6:33.

What exactly is the Kingdom of God, therefore, and how does one attempt to find it? What does "His righteousness" actually mean? If we put the Kingdom and His justice first, what "things" will be added to us? What is expected of believers according to Matthew 6:33?

A key passage that focuses our attention on what God views as the most significant objective a person may have is Matthew 6:33.

We must grasp the fundamental ideas of this poem from a biblical perspective in order to apply it to our own life.

To demonstrate the meaning of Matthew 6:33, this blog post will dissect each of its elements.

"But look first for God's kingdom."

The Old Testament book of Daniel contains one of the most striking depictions of God's government superseding human governments, however the New Testament has a lot to say about the Kingdom of God.

In Daniel 2, the ancient Babylonian king Nebuchadnezzar dreamed of a large statue or image, most likely of a man, with a gold head, silver arms and chest, bronze thighs. However, a cataclysmic stone eventually shattered the image as the dream continued (Daniel 2:31-34).

Nebuchadnezzar sought the prophet Daniel's interpretation of the dream because he was unsure of its meaning.

However, following you, there will be a kingdom that is less powerful than yours, followed by a third kingdom made of bronze that will control the entire planet.

The Babylonian Empire, Medo-Persian Empire, Greco-Macedonian Empire, and Roman Empire are the historical names of these empires, or kingdoms. Go through "Daniel 2: Nebuchadnezzar's Dream" to find out more about these prophesies.
