Dealing with the medical needs or the loss of a loved one is already hard enough. Our passion is helping people take the steps that are needed to prepare for such challenges.  Grand Traverse Elder Law’s practice focuses entirely on elder law issues.  These issues involve Medicaid, long-term-care, powers of attorney, patient advocate designations, wills, trusts, guardianships, conservatorships, trust administration, and probate. 

Michigan Grown and Committed to Service

Founding attorney, Ryan Hulst, was born into a military family, and lived in Virginia and Japan before his parents settled back in Michigan.  After high school, he attended the United States Military Academy at West Point.  He then commissioned as an infantry officer, graduated from the US Army Ranger School, and deployed to combat in Afghanistan where he was awarded the Combat Infantryman’s Badge and the Bronze Star.
